Uninspiring
We purchased Premium parking and we were told that those lots were full and we were sent to general parking. Once we got to east gate you could clearly see a dozen spots available to park in premium. We spoke with a nice woman in the premium lot that took our info about getting a refund on the parking, texting her our info, then never heard back about it.
Aldean s Accoustics weren’t very good during the show, we witnessed 3 fights in the lawn and a young woman being carried out by her friends which was probably what the ambulances were for.
We won’t be attending another show at star lake.
Left a lot to be desired
We opening two performers did a wonderful job. Sound and lighting was good. Main event came on stage with volume had been turned up and the lighting presentation that was done was very poorly orchestrated. The lighting was such that within 15 minutes of the main performer on stage I was getting a massive migraine 10 minutes later my wife and I left. The volume was so loud that you could no longer understand the singer. Yes I understand trying to do a sound check in an outdoor venue changes once you add a thousand people into the crowd that absorb some of the sound. The next concert I go to will be indoors in a controlled environment environment.
Sorry to say this concert for me only gets two Stars
Ultimate Showman
First- What a wonderful new addition to the Country Music Scene John Morgan. Never heard of him but now he is certainly on my radar. Love him and looking forward to much more of him!
Jason Aldean- Wow!! This is what a true showman looks like. He energized and moved that crowd from start to finish. He played until we’ll after 11 pm. Way past what you get from the average Joe. This was my granddaughter’s 14 birthday request- tickets to Jason Aldean. Im so happy that her first concert was an epic performance. Leaves the rest of them some big shoes to fill! Mr. Aldean, many thanks from the Hicks in upstate New York.
Loved it!!
First the ford center always does a great job at setting up for concerts. Having the vip area marked and dividing the vip lines so everyone goes where they are supposed to. I was first in line and sometimes arena just open the doors and let pit ticket holders make their way freely to the pit area and it is a free for all and people start running. Thursday we were walked all the way to the pit area respectfully! It was all done professionally and the concert was a blast! Ive seen jason aldean 9 times! 7 times in the pit and its always a GREAT show!! I never want it to end!
